Grulla coronada

La grulla coronada cuelligrís,  (Balearica regulorum) es un ave gruiforme de la familia Gruidae. Habita comúnmente en la sabana africana al sur del Sahara, aunque suele anidar en hábitats más húmedos. Sus grandes manchas alares blancas sobre el plumaje gris son visibles durante el vuelo y la exhibición.Habita en pantanos, donde se alimenta de grandes insectos, ranas y sapos, cereales y otros vegetales. Vuela pesadamente, con el cuello y las patas algo caídos, y descansa en los árboles. Las parejas se exhiben con una danza a saltos y su fuerte reclamo a dos notas.

The cuelligrís Crowned Crane (Balearica regulorum) is a family Gruidae gruiforme the bird. Commonly inhabits the African savannah south of the Sahara, although usually nests in wetter habitats. Its large white wing patches on the gray plumage are visible in flight and display.
It lives in swamps, where it feeds on large insects, frogs and toads, grains and vegetables. Fly heavily, neck and legs fallen somewhat, and rest in the trees. The pairs are displayed with a dance in leaps and strong claim to two notes.
